Coco & Max was established in Melbourne in 2015, by Tessa Arnold and Andrew Pope. With over 16 years designing in the clubwear industry, their vision is to create a premium clothing brand that pushes the boundaries aesthetically utilising sustainable local manufacturing.
Coco & Max garments are well constructed, using the best quality sports fabrics with high craftsmanship and sharp attention to detail. They experiment with fusions of futuristic and retro sportswear designs, reinforcing the importance of originality and artistic self-expression.
With innovative approaches to pattern cutting and a strong emphasis on their in-house graphic prints, Coco's leisurewear plays with vibrant neon pop themes, against Max's monochromatic streetwear aesthetic in brutalist greys.
Coco & Max are aware of the carbon footprints left on this planet, so every collection is manufactured ethically in the heart of Melbourne, to support slow fashion and fair local trade.
Coco & Max encourages trans-seasonal pieces, and believes that we should all embrace and be proud to be different, and express this through our clothing. Every Coco & Max garment has multiple functionalities, keeping up to date with the speed of living.
All garments are made out of quality sports fabrics to be worn from dawn till disco; whether you're going for a 10k run, chasing your 2-year-old around, or just getting back from a festival, you'll radiate in Coco & Max, standing out in comfort and style.

All Coco & Max garments are made in small limited edition quantities at a local factory – then all embellishments are done by hand and made to order. Coco & Max think of their garments as ‘one-off art pieces’ that can be valued and worn forever. Staple art pieces you should cherish in your wardrobe season after season. Coco & Max's garments are made from deadstock fabrics, they never throw away any fabric! For example, all the lycra scraps are made into headbands, scrunchies or bathers.
Coco & Max produce every product in a safe and transparent way. They have been using the same local factory for small limited runs and grading patterns for over five years now. This is ethically operated and continues to pay its workers legal wages.
No animals have been harmed in the process of textile production or manufacturing. No animal textiles or animal by-products are used throughout any collection.
