Seapia is a brand with respect for our planet at its heart and a celebration of beauty in its soul. The team at Seapia believe we can look as beautiful as the Earth we have been blessed to protect.
Seapia utilise fabrics which are carefully selected for their low impact on the environment so that they can give back to the world without compromising on beauty and style. Each piece in their range is locally-made swimwear, created from reclaimed discarded plastics that utilise new technologies to produce high quality and durable fabric.
These plastics could have been collected from the very beaches on which you will be wearing the swimwear, which provides a unique and rewarding experience.
Seapia reflects the tropical style of Costa Rica, the birthplace of the brand’s founder Fiorella Castro. Fiorella’s diverse fashion background and love of nature has given her a unique perspective on life, leading to this iconic range of swimwear with a Latin American heart and high tech, low-impact structure.
The exclusive prints that underpin the range are the result of collaborations with local artists that bring a startling and genuinely individual range of swimwear to the world.
+ Australian designed

+ Australian made
All Seapia Garments are ethically made in Northbridge, New South Wales, Australia.
Seapia make all swimwear using Econyl, 78% recycled plastic material. For their latest collection they also used Econyl to line the swimwear, which would usually be done with new fibre. Seapia use a “carbon neutral” courier, meaning that they use up all the unwanted inventory from other couriers and pick Seapia parcels up on the way to and from other jobs. The team also produce all garments in Sydney to lessen this travel. Seapia are also developing a few products with the leftover cuts of fabric and unused fabric.
Seapia produce every product in a safe and transparent way. Each product is made in Sydney, using the highest quality skills and ethical practices possible. The team at Seapia are always striving for and working to the highest ethical standards possible and will always work at improving their practices to reflect this important value.
No animals have been harmed in the process of textile production or manufacturing through Seapia. No animal textiles or animal by-products are used throughout their collections.
You can ask the team at Seapia anything you want about their supply chain, practices and manufacturing processes.
+ Recycled and circular
Seapia uses Econyl to create their swimwear collections made from recycled nylon waste.
