The Fashion Advocate is an ethical and sustainable fashion label, blog and digital community, founded by Claire Goldsworthy in 2014.
What started as a digital diary of Claire's daily fashion musings, has grown to an online store, print magazine, fashion label, and one of Australia's largest online stores for ethical and sustainable fashion. Claire is recognised as one of Australia's top influencers for her commitment to ethics and sustainability in the fashion industry.
Claire designs and makes her own label, working with local craftswomen to bring her values to life and to help shape the vision she has for the Australian fashion industry.
The Fashion Advocate's range is designed with slow fashion values, and each piece is made ethically in Australia to the highest quality standards. No detail is left undesigned, and no finishing touch is unthought of. Each piece forms part of a greater capsule wardrobe; one that can be worn season after season, year after year.
The Fashion Advocate's hand-knitted range is made from GOTS Certified organic cotton and wool, dyed with eco-friendly OEKO-TEX Certified dyes.
