LIMB the label can finally launch themselves, after recently reaching their Pozible Campaign goal of $10k, a much-needed cash injection for any emerging label.
Designers Andria Kiefer and Sinead Hargreaves are determined to start strong and ensure a future for their budding brand, and the launch of their first collection set the story firmly in stone. To a lively crowd, laid back tunes and plenty of friends and family, the Abstract Impression collection draped around the room with a rolling movie overlay projecting above the bar. Picturesque greenery weaved in and out, flickering in dim candlelight – creating a very relaxed, casual and minimal vibe, matching the collection perfectly.
LIMB’s Abstract Impression collection is one of classic silhouettes, straight lines and an abundance of daily essentials; yet its inspiration is quite complex. Drawing on the designers’ shared love of nonfigurative art, the collection features simple geometric and linear forms, offering trans-seasonal shapes and easily layered pieces. Also heavily inspired by natural landscapes and environmental elements, the collection’s palette derives from the desert plains of California – patches of refreshing greens against rugged pinks.
Limb’s exploration of colour and pattern combine with clean design, refined styles and clear silhouettes to offer a relaxed yet sophisticated piece for every woman’s wardrobe.
