Melbourne Spring Fashion Week

From a lively panel discussion to inspiring workshops, Kangan Institute has plenty in store for fashionistas and industry alike at this year’s Melbourne Spring Fashion Week. Kangan Institute has partnered with the MSFW Curated program to host a free panel discussion and a series of creative fashion workshops.

Held at the Docklands campus on 29 August from 6-9pm, the panel discussion ‘What is the temperature of fashion today’ will offer participants unique perspectives from some of Melbourne’s leading fashion industry experts. Headed by the Council of Textile and Fashion’s CEO David Giles-Kaye, fashion journalist Janice Breen Burns, celebrity stylist Philip Boon, Jeanswest’s CEO Mark Haynes and Kangan Institute’s millinery educator Melissa Jackson, panelists will share their experiences and inside knowledge of the dynamic fashion industry.

“This free panel discussion is a valuable forum for fashion students, stylists, enthusiasts and industry to network whilst gaining insight to the latest trends in the fashion world,” said Jane Vandemeer, acting coordinator at Kangan Institute’s Textile and Fashion Hub.
