If you haven’t thought much about it in the past, now is the time to start.Get the answers to your questions and celebrate Fashion Revolution Week in Brisbane on 19 April 2016 and be part of the fashion solution. Supported by Oxfam Australia and presented by Fashion Hub Queensland and Fashion Revolution, The True Cost Brisbane event will screen the documentary, The True Cost, an incredibly moving and insightful documentary that explores the impact of fashion on people and the planet.
The film has already stirred audiences around the world and raised the question of the impact that ‘fast-fashion’ has on our society. With pre-drinks and mingling from 6:00pm, The True Cost Brisbane event will also present a panel discussion hosted by Laura Churchill (The Style Report) with Brisbane designers, George Wu, Julie Tengdahl, Deanne Maiocchi (Maiocchi), Lis Harvey (Nico Underwear) and Matt Janes (Black Milk Clothing).
