It’s no secret that the traditional corporate wardrobe can be a little drab. Confined to black pencil skirts, boxy blazers and dated court shoes, the office outlook is usually grim – but it doesn’t have to be.
Getting creative with your Monday to Friday wardrobe can be a lot of fun, and it’s easy to mix Australian made pieces in with your staple outfits. When you’ve worked out what shapes and styles suit you best, experiment with your accessories or variations of your favourite pieces.
High-waisted wide leg pants are my go-to, and oversized statement earrings add dimension to block colour outfits. A cute clutch that transitions from office to out is always handy, and as always, comfortable heels are a must. When you’re in and out of the office, comfortability is key. Monochrome colours can be lifted by their prints and patterns, and a little imagination can transform any outfit with the right cuts and shapes.
