How I got Sam Worthington to buy from me.

When The Fashion Advocate was one of the largest online stores for sustainable fashion, I stocked over 100 brands, I ran my own brand, I had a team of staff, had two retail stores in Melbourne, and was scaling to $30k+ quarters.

But I’d spent the first five years struggling.

Before I worked out my system (what I call the TFA FRAMEWORK now), it was brutally hard. I was broke. There were moments I couldn’t pay my own house rent. I wasn’t paying myself a wage. I was working 10-14 hour days and living on adrenaline, coffee and Instagram likes. I didn’t have a plan, I was just hustling, hard.

And it worked for a little while. Until I burnt out.

I ended up in hospital, completely depleted, totally burnt out, stressed to my eyeballs and riddled with inflammation. When the doctors told me there was nothing wrong with me except that I was ‘doing too much’, I realised I had to change.

So I changed my business. I came up with a plan. I got clear about my goals. I set boundaries on my work hours. I stopped throwing spaghetti at the wall. I got serious about profit and money. I made time to work on my business not just in it. I also asked for help, invested in myself, and started learning from other people instead of trying to figure everything out myself.

Hey presto. Asking for help actually works. And learning proven methods works too.

And when the online order came through from Sam Worthington, I realised SEO works.

So I set out to learn as much as I could, because I wanted more of that.

The problem was, everything on the market back then was about ‘exploding’ your business, running endless sales to push inventory, and hacks I didn’t believe in. So, I took the fast fashion model and I made it my own, I stripped back the crap, packed it with purpose, and forged ahead.

Then I made $500k and fell back in love with my fashion business.

Everything got easier. I made more sales. I paid myself a wage. I slept. I took time off. I actually loved what I did instead of feeling exhausted all the time. I had space to come up with new ideas. And more people found my online store - including Sam Worthington and Lara Bingle, who bought two jumpers because I’d done some SEO.

OK but WTF is SEO and I don’t have time to do it.

I feel you. I avoided it for years because it felt really hard, I didn’t get, and I was a creative type, not a techy person. So I just kept saying, ‘When I have the money I’ll hire someone.’ But while you wait in that void, you lose customers to your competitors. You hustle on socials when you don’t want to. You leave orders out there that could be banked.

I’ve simplified SEO for you so you don’t have to learn it.

You just have to follow the steps I map out in my easy SEO Masterclass, and that’s one of the bonus courses inside my TFA FRAMEWORK bundle. No tech skills required!

I explain and break down everything. Plus you get an easy action plan. And you get bonus access to LIVE calls to ask questions.

If you’re still feeling bamboozled (totally normal when you learn a new skill), you can show up LIVE to our monthly Office Hours call to ask all the questions you need and get tailored help for your business.

And my SEO course is just one of the ways to make more sales.

The rest are bundled up in my TFA FRAMEWORK and it’s 80% off till Sunday. I’m going on sale so you don’t have to. Get it all right here.
