I remember crying in my car one Saturday afternoon after trying to explain, for the 900th time, why my one-of-a-kind handmade dresses were worth $199 and not $49. I'd spent the day on my feet at the markets in the sun, trying to educate and explain and persuade shoppers to support my sustainable label, and I was empty.
This was nearly twenty years ago.
People just didn't really understand 'ethical fashion'. It wasn't a headline to read about back then. It wasn't common. Ethical and sustainable fashion was considered a 'hippy thing' and most people associated it with baggy hemp harem pants. People just didn’t get it.
I’d poured everything into my label. Money, meaning, time I didn’t have alongside studying and working full time too. Everything. Because I wanted to build a brand that mattered, and still, I was struggling to sell enough.
I didn’t have a mentor. I didn’t have a map. I had Google, a lot of grit, and a fear that maybe I was building something beautiful that no one wanted. But I kept going, and I kept educating, and I kept making, because it made me feel good.
Then my label took me around the world and landed me on the front page of multiple papers and magazines. It was on runways, in wardrobes, and it was working, because I didn't give up.
And now, after nearly two decades working in the fashion industry and over a decade running one of the largest online stores for ethical and sustainable fashion, I have worked out: the problem isn’t the product. The problem isn't your price. The problem is the system.
The fast fashion system is rigged to make you feel like you’re doing it all wrong, when really, you’re doing fashion right. You're slowing down. You're thinking long-term. You're trying to build a business that doesn’t destroy the planet or exploit people.
And that right there matters so bloody much. But purpose alone doesn’t pay the bills and that’s where a lot of us get stuck.
And at that crossroads, the point where you really want to give up but also don't want to, the part of your story where you question it all, that's the moment it becomes all too easy to quit.
On one hand, you’re committed to ethical production, small runs, sustainable fabric, fair pay. But on the other? You’re trying to survive in a marketplace where polyester dresses sell for $4 on Temu with free shipping.
It's infuriating. And it’s easy to start questioning yourself. Do I need to drop my prices? Should I run another sale? Maybe if I just post more on Instagram?
But what if the answer isn't working harder or being cheaper? What if the answer is working smarter?
I want to give you all those answers because I don't want you to quit, I want you to do really bloody well. If you're using fashion as a force for good, the world needs you to do well. And that's exactly I created F*ck Fast Fashion: The 7 Secrets of Successful Slow Fashion Brands, a two-hour workshop to help you grow your brand without selling your soul.
This is for you if...
- You're tired of competing with Shein and Temu on price.
- You want to grow your sales without burning out.
- You believe in your brand but you feel like no one else does.
- You want clarity, confidence, and a strategy that actually works for you.
- You don't have the money for ads and need free strategies that work, fast.
You'll get all that inside this workshop. I know, because I’ve done it. I built one of the largest online stores for ethical and sustainable fashion, without ads, without investors, without AI, and without going on sale every three months.
I’m not teaching you to dance for the algorithm. I’m not going to tell you to niche down until your customer is a left-handed vegan who only wears hemp on Tuesdays. I’m giving you the real stuff. The kind of strategy that give you practical, real-world steps you can take today, right now, with zero budget, to build a stronger brand and grow.
Here's what you'll learn...
- How to craft a brand people actually remember.
- How to build trust that turns followers into buyers.
- How to price confidently and profitably.
- How to market with integrity, not gimmicks.
- How to stand out, even in a saturated space.
And most importantly, I’ll show you how to do all this your way. Because cookie-cutter growth doesn’t work for purpose-driven brands. We need a different kind of map. This is about taking the 7 proven strategies that the most successful slow fashion brands use, and turning them into methods that work for your unique business, your unique products, and your current resources and life.
It's not a magic wand but it is a turning point.
No workshop will change your business overnight. But sometimes, one conversation, one shift in perspective, one new strategy is all it takes to go from, 'Why isn’t this working?' to, 'F*ck yeah. I’ve got this.' Because you do, sometimes you just need reminding.
And that’s what this is. It’s the workshop I wish I had when I was trying to figure it all out. It’s the support I craved when I was questioning if my prices were too high or my dreams were too big.
Because you're not doing it wrong. You're just doing it differently.
And different businesses need different strategies. The system that works for fast fashion doesn't work for slow fashion. That system is broken and you don't want to follow it anyway.
You don’t need to shrink your dream to fit a broken system. You just need tools that were built for the way you want to work.
This is your invitation. Come and learn the 7 secrets. Come and join a movement of slow fashion founders who get it. Come and get fired up about your business again and fall in love with what you're doing, so you have the energy to do more of it and keep going.
Don't quit. Take the workshop instead. Let's shake shit up.
