Julie Goodwin Couture redefines eco-elegance with her Melbourne made fashion label.

Julie Goodwin shares her name with a famous reality TV star, but her work couldn't be further away from the fast-paced and heated environment of the kitchen. This Julie Goodwin is a couturier, a sustainability lover, and a much-loved Melbourne fashion industry icon.

Julie has over 20 years of experience in the fashion industry and she's established a trusted reputation dressing everyday women and media personalities alike, but Julie isn't one to boast.

If you asked her, she'd be coy about dressing Daina Atkinson for the Emmys in L.A and having a hand in the 'outfit that broke the internet'. If you bought it up, she'd tiptoe around the fact that her couture has been worn by the likes of Sigrid Thornton, Kate Atkinson, Shaynna Blaze, Tania Doko, Madeleine West and Olympia Valance.

Her work has been featured in the Sydney Morning Herald, The Courier Mail, The Age and Vogue online, but the hype, the glitz and the glam isn't the drawcard for Julie. Her true passion is simply giving the gift of clothing that actually fits and the invaluable feeling that comes with it. Needless to say, I'm a fan.

Inside the Slow Fashion Circle this month, our members have the exclusive opportunity to sit with Julie, and she's sharing all things fashion and business, her journey, the PR strategy behind her media features and how she uses PR to grow her Melbourne made couture label.

Julie is one of the seven incredible mentors and experts teaching on the topic of PR and media this month inside the Slow Fashion Circle, and we're diving deep into the power of PR and what it can do for your ethical, sustainable, circular or slow fashion brand. If you want to learn how to develop a PR strategy and you need a clear action plan that you can implement straight away - you need to join the Slow Fashion Circle this month.
