Pinterest. If you’re not using it, you’re losing sales, that's the long and short of it. The Fashion Advocate is now a digital community for slow fashion brands but before my 2023 rebrand and relaunch, it was one of the largest online stores for ethical and sustainable fashion and I used Pinterest to help get me there.
Pinterest drove thousands of customers to my website every single month (yes, thousands) and learned what worked and what didn't work through years of trial and error, which I think is ten times more valuable than any text-book social media coach you'll find.
See I'm about the real learned experience - the stuff you only learn when you're all in, blood, sweat and tears building a slow fashion business day in and day out. I'm about sharing what really works so you can skip the heartache and stress of working out what doesn't. I'm about showing you proven and trusted strategies that worked for me and the hundreds of brands I've worked with too. I'm about honest, organic and free marketing strategies that work on a shoe-string budget because let's face it, in the first few years of running a slow fashion business, that's probably what you've got.
So, this month inside the Slow Fashion Circle, I'm sharing everything I know about Pinterest so you can perfect your own strategy and use a free platform to increase your sales, increase your impact and grow your ethical, sustainable, circular, handmade or slow fashion brand.
Here's why I love Pinterest...
✅ No algorithm (well, nothing like Instagram's algorithm anyway).
✅ No cost.
✅ No dancing for reels.
✅ No awkward conversations to the camera.
✅ Set, forget, make sales.
What's more, 518 million people use Pinterest every month to search for something they want to buy. That's a lot of eyeballs and a lot of potential customers. So I’ll say it again: if you’re not using Pinterest, you’re losing sales.
If you want to learn how to use Pinterest for your ethical, sustainable, circular, handmade or slow fashion brand come on into the Slow Fashion Circle this month and level up to grow your brand.
Inside the Slow Fashion Circle you'll also gain access to slow fashion industry professionals, experts and mentors as well as a beautiful community of like-minded slow fashion business founders to support you on your business journey.
Jump the queue and head straight in here or contact me if you have any questions at all. I'm an open book!
