Feminist fashion label MOGA launches with ASOS

It’s been a big 12 months for Melbourne-made brand MOGA, and it’s not slowing down anytime soon. Despite only launching in September 2016, MOGA has already established itself as a leading fashion brand in the social enterprise space, and its bold aesthetic is carving quite the statement.

Founded by Azahn Munas, MOGA was born out of a desire to celebrate self-expression and to unite different communities of people around the world through their love of fashion. Working with the CARE Foundation, 20% of all profits are used to send young girls to primary and secondary school in some of Pakistan’s most volatile communities. The bright and bold designs celebrate the individuality and personal style of MOGA’s wearers, with innovative new digital printing techniques.

Teaming up with fellow Melbourne-based fashion label, Collective Closets, MOGA have created a series of unique looks, exclusively designed for global online retail juggernaut, ASOS (Marketplace). These five limited edition ASOS pieces now complete a collection of 15 unique designs, which have been carefully curated to highlight the diversity of MOGA’s fans who range from trendy hijabsters to festival-goers, and women undergoing chemotherapy or hair loss.

The MOGA message is clear; fashion has the power to positively change stereotypes and social norms. As a feminist label, MOGA prides itself on creating innovative looks that are bold and unique, so that each one of its fans can feel fierce and fabulous.
